A lot of guitar and bass players and musicians can learn a lot from this great cello master. She is definately immortal like Elvis, Hendrix, Buddy Holly and many others.

@NiniMushu Fitting, though, that this great master's cello was loaned out to an almost equally great cellist like YoYo Ma. I think it's in wonderful hands who could bring out the soul and music that an instrument is capable of when in a true musician's hands. :)

So sad how the great Jacqueline Du Pre died. May she rest in piece. :(
Did you know later on Du Pre's husband conducted the same piece bu instead of Jacqueline Du pre... it was YoYo Ma! With Jacqueline Du Pre's cello!

Everybody seems to prefer Barbirolli's recording to this one but I like her playing here better. Am I nuts?
